Cosmic Boy

Cosmic Boy is a founding member and leader of the Legion of Superheroes. Cosmic Boy is a Braalian who have the natural ability to lift and manipulate metal. He can manipulate, repel or attract metal objects of varying sizes. Cosmic Boy can protect himself from physical harm, can stretch his fields to protect a large group, and can suspend persons or objects in the air.

Lightning lad

Lightning Lad was born on the planet Winath. While he was out in space on a joyride with his sister and brother, they were forced to land. Mekt Ranzz chose Korbal in order to use the local wildlife to recharge their ship. The Lightning Beasts surrounded them and attacked. While Mekt and Garth survived with electrical super powers. Garth also received a scar on his face that charges when he activates his ability. Lightning Lad can absorb electrical energy into his body and re-channel it for offensive purposes. Garth can manipulate these electric discharges in non-terrestrial environments such as outer space.

Saturn Girl

Saturn Girl became the most talented and disciplined telepath born on Titan. Imra planned to apply for the Science Police. During her flight, she met Rokk Krinn and Garth Ranzz. She then detected danger and the trio saved R.J. Brande's life. Impressed with their valour, Brande helped the three form the Legion of Superheroes. Saturn Girl's main power is the power of telepathy. She can create mental projections from her mind and read the thoughts of others.

Brainiac 5

Brainiac 5 is born on the planet Colu, where the residents are 95% robotic, and one of the only planets with any Kryptonian DNA connected to the people. he was the fifth of the line of the original Brainiac. Brainiac 5 is Coluan, a nano-based cybernetic organism that can assume a human-like form. His human-like form can alter its shape to create tools and weapons or transform into a large, battle robot form. His AI core is based on the original Brainiac 1.0. Brainiac 5 managed to regain control over himself and overpower Brainiac 1.0 after he corrupted his programming. In the process, Brainiac 5 becomes a pure organic being as he discards his robotic armor.

Bouncing boy

Bouncing Boy is one of the original members of the Legion of Super Heroes. Chuck was a normal man living on Earth until he drank a scientist's super-plastic fluid and gained the power to inflate his body and transform into a life-size sphere. When he utilizes his power, his body's elasticity and resiliency becomes extremely rubbery allowing him to bounce with great force.

Triplicate Girl/Duo Damsel

Triplicate Girl can naturally split into three bodies that are identical in body and mind. Those with different personalities are considered schizophrenic. When Triplicate Girl merges into one body, she gains the memories and knowledge that her divided selves obtained. The fighting ability of strategic blows with three different bodies. When one of her bodies is lost in the future she combines the two remaining bodies becoming Duo Damsel.

Phantom Girl

Phantom Girlis one of the original members. She's the daughter of the Winema Wazzo the President of the United Planets. Phantom Girl has the ability to turn intangible or "phase". She is connected with the extra-dimensional space known as the Phantom Zone. While phased, she is immune to physical harm, can manuever through solid objects and fly under her own power. She has additionally demonstrated the ability to disrupt the workings of electronic devices by moving through them while phased.

Superman

Superman was born on Krypton, a planet that was doomed to explode shortly. He was raised with a strong sense of ethics and morals and when he came of age, he discovered Earth's Sun radiated him and gave him a range of super powers. He possesses the ability to fly under his own power, incredible strength and his eyes can emit bursts of heat. His vision is able to see x-rays and radio waves. His lungs are capable of holding air for long periods of time in environments without oxygen, and the ability to compress this air and exhale it in a freezing capacity.

Superman X

Superman X was born in the 41st century and is a clone of the 21st century hero Superman. Created by the digitized gestalt inventor K3NT using DNA from the first Superman, Superman X was genetically conceived to possess all of Superman's strengths, but none of his weaknesses. He the standard Kryptonian power exposed to yellow sun radiation. His creators K3NT also laced Kryptonite into his DNA giving him a immunity to the element. This also gave him the ability to summon crystal structures, that can surround and bind his enemies. A blood transfusion from Superman X was also able to cure Superman from Kryptonite poisoning.

Emerald Empress

Emerald Empress was born and raised on Venegar. She became obsessed with attaining power, influence, wealth, and immortality. Through a stroke of luck, Sarya stumbled into a cave that held the Emerald Eye of Ekron. The Eye was attracted by her strong emotions and the two formed a bond with each other. As Emerald Empress, she conquered her planet and several in its solar system.

Lightning Lord

Lightning Lord was born on planet Winath. One day he took the family transport on a joyride. They were forced to land on a planetoid named Korbal. Mekt Ranzz came up with a plan to lure a Lightning Beast close enough to the transport to recharge it. The plan fell awry when the Beast attacked the transport and several more arrived and attacked the children with electrical discharge. Mekt and his brother survived and received super powers. Due to the trauma, Mekt's hair changed white. Lightning Lord can absorb electrical energy into his body and re-channel it for offensive purposes. His body functions as a natural insulator. He can channel this energy through his hands and project it as a super-heated discharge with properties similar to that of lightning.

Drax is a Kryptonian criminal trapped in the Phantom Zone. After being routinely defeated by Superman and returned to the Phantom Zone, Kryptonian criminals allied together and were able to create a near genetic equal to Superman. They engineered him to be immune to Kryptonite and named him Drax. He possesses the ability to fly under his own power, incredible strength and near invulnerability. His lungs are capable of holding air for long periods of time in environments without oxygen, and the ability to compress this air and exhale it in a freezing capacity.

Imperiax

Imperiex is a powerful warlord from the 41st Century. He can fly, is stronger than Superman. Imperiex is the perfect between interface technology and flesh. He is a being whose strength and invulnerability can only be challenged by the likes of Superman. He can also move with great speed. He is among the most powerful of the beings in the galaxy. His main power, the laser beam, is a form of energy that he fires from his chest as a concussive force.

During the Great Crisis, an inter-dimensional species called the Controllers created the Sun-Eater. The core of the Sun-Eater is heavily shielded and is protected by a lethal gas cloud. As its namesake, the Sun-Eater seeks out suns and devours an entire star. As a result, the the planets that depend on the sun fall out of orbit and life perishes. The Sun-Eater was too dangerous to destroy or dismantle. Instead, it was deactivated and locked away in the Fenton Arms Depot on Cheyenne Delta. Its existence was classified.
